Human Rights TribunalThe Canadian Human Rights Act is a statute passed by the Parliament of Canada, the fundamental goal of this law is to ensure equal opportunity to individuals who may be victims of discriminatory practices based on a set of principles such as race, age, color, disability, ethnic origin, citizenship, sex (including pregnancy, gender identity), sexual orientation, sexual identity, etc. Human rights laws prohibit discrimination and harassment based on specific characteristics in areas such as employment, services, and housing.
